2,300 UK MILITARY INVOLVED IN LIBYA

Who were the 'Nazis' who wrecked Libya and murdered vast numbers of Libyan woman and kids?

Britain deployed large numbers of soldiers to Libya, defence secretary Philip Hammond has revealed.

The British Forces Broadcasting Service said that 1 200 army officers took part in Operation Ellamy, the Ministry of Defence's codename for the Libya conflict.

Previously, ministers claimed "a handful" of British Army officers would be sent to "advise" rebel commanders.

British soldiers were involved in Libya operations on the ground

"At its peak, the UK had 2,300 personnel, 32 aircraft and four ships committed to the campaign in Libya."

WHY IS LIAM FOX BEING GOT AT?

Top UK Conservative politician Liam Fox and friend. Website for this image

Why is the UK's Liam Fox being got at by the media?

(UK DEFENCE SCRETARY TO BE SACKED?)

1. Liam Fox wants to stop the EU from having its own military operational headquarters.

Fox asks: "Do you really want the people who brought you the Common Agricultural Policy and the eurozone to be in charge of your defence?"

(Fiscal hawk flies high on a year of successes)

2. According to a source: Liam Fox was sceptical of the whole Libya operation from the start "which didn’t endear him to No 10 as Dave was sticking his neck out trying to get it done."

3. Liam Fox is a tough little working-class conservative.

He is originally from a council house in the West of Scotland.

He attended St. Bride's High School.

Think of Catholic politicians from the Glasgow area such as Steven Purcell and John Reid.

A Conservative politician says of Liam Fox: "He’s a reckless bastard with no judgment."

Liam Fox's grandfather was a coal miner and Liam was raised on a council estate in East Kilbride, near Glasgow.

He became a doctor in the East End of Glasgow.

4. Liam Fox is very different from the upper class leader of the Conservative Party, David Cameron.

David Cameron has appointed Guardian leader writer Julian Glover as his chief speechwriter.

Julian Glover is the civil partner of Times writer Matthew Parris.

UK DEFENCE SCRETARY TO BE SACKED?

The mysterious Adam Werritty and UK Defence Secretary Liam Fox (right).

Adam Werritty used to share a flat with Liam Fox.

There have been reports that Liam Fox is gay.

Liam Fox, a fervent neo-con, is the UK Minister of Defence.

On 5 October 2011, the UK's Channel 4 News reported that the UK Defence Secretary Liam Fox has been quizzed about his friend Adam Werritty's access to the Ministry of Defence

Former UK armed forces minister Kevan Jones has told the Guardian that Fox's unrecorded meetings with Adam Werritty could pose "a threat to national security".

Fox and friends.

Fox has admitted meeting Werritty 14 times at the Ministry of Defence in the last 16 months.

Werritty is not an official special adviser to Fox.

Werrity's business card claims that werritty is an "adviser to Rt Hon Dr Liam Fox MP".

According to The Guardian:

When Fox was shadow defence secretary, Werritty was a director of a company called Security Futures and Werritty accompanied Fox to meetings in the US, Middle East and Sri Lanka.

When Fox was shadow health secretary, Werritty allegedly ran a health consultancy firm.

UK Chief of the Defence Staff Sir David Richards (left) is said to have had disagreements with Fox (in suit)

"In an interview for the London Evening Standard Liam Fox refused to deny that he might have had a gay relationship in the past."

Source: http://www.pinknews.co.uk/news/politics/2005-134.html

"Speaking to the Evening Standard Fox said, 'I think you are entitled to a private life.'

"At no point during the interview or in subsequent press conferences has Dr Fox denied ever having gay relationships; he has simply stated that there is no need to answer the questions.

"In the 2001 Conservative Leadership contest, former Defence Secretary, Michael Portillo was forced to admit having had a gay relationship in the past."

American Luke Coffey has worked for US Defence Secretary Liam Fox

On 6 June 2010, The Sunday Times reported that the UK Defence Minister lets a US 'mole' roam the Ministry of Defence

According to the Sunday Times in June 2010:

UK Defence Secretary Liam Fox (Fox dismisses gay smears ) has had Luke Coffey, a man with links to the CIA, as a special adviser.

Liam Fox is said to want the UK to buy American, rather than British, military equipment.

Luke Coffey has run the London branch of an American think tank called Censa (Council for Emerging National Security Affairs).

At least a quarter of the members listed on its website have been in the CIA or other American intelligence agencies.

Luke Coffey has been issued with a pass giving him access to all areas of the Ministry of Defence.

FAILURE OF THE MILITARY

The Western military have been involved in Libya.

Frank Ledwidge is a former military intelligence officer.

He has served in Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.

He should know what's happening in Libya.

He has written a book called "Losing Small Wars: British Military Failure in Iraq and Afghanistan" (Yale University Press)

According to Rodric Braithwaite, former chairman of the UK Joint Intelligence Committee , at FT.com:

"Losing Small Wars, is a savage indictment of the military leadership that got British soldiers into one impossible situation after another...

"His conclusion is stark: 'The reputation of the British army has been seriously damaged'...

According to Ledwidge, "Afghans do not take kindly to foreign soldiers breaking into their homes at night, insulting their women, turning everything upside down and taking their men away to unknown destinations.

"When their families are killed by foreign bombs, they are not mollified...

"Soldiers may hand out sweets to village children and assure their parents that they come with the best intentions. But hearts and minds are not won...

"The French failed for similar reasons in Algeria.

"So did the Americans in Vietnam and the Russians in Afghanistan.

"So did earlier British counterinsurgency campaigns in Yemen and Palestine.

"Our politicians... told the public that British soldiers were fighting to smash the Taliban in Helmand (in Afghanistan) because most terrorist plots against Britain were hatched on the borders of Pakistan..."

Actually, the terrorist plots were hatched by the Western spooks.

The leaders of the USA and NATO would appear to be dangerous psycopaths.

Video on Psycopaths. Found at http://twelfthbough.blogspot.com/

On 24 August 2011, Xymphora wrote about Gadaffi and the lesson of Serbia:

"When NATO wants to remove a political regime from a relatively organized country, it carpet bombs heavily-populated civilian areas until the leader, out of concern for his own people, leaves.

"The paradox is that the leader is portrayed in NATO propaganda as a ruthless monster who doesn't care about the civilian population, and yet the NATO plan depends on the assumption that the carpet bombing and mass slaughter of civilians will force the leader out as he actually does care...

"What could Gadaffi do to save his people and yet continue the resistance against Sarko, Cameron and Obama?

"Pretend to give up, falling away to allow the NATO mercenaries to 'win' - thus providing an end to the need to carpet bomb civilians - and then continue the fight as long-term guerrilla warfare, eventually forcing the NATO countries into even more ruinous expense to keep the rebels in power.

"It is a brilliant strategic plan, but does Gadaffi have the money and troops to carry it out?"
